
Eat Clean and Travel
From my own experience, people always struggle when traveling and trying to eat clean. I am often asked for my advice when it comes to making smarter choices. Now that summer is here I know that many of you are spending your summer traveling all over the world with family and friends…but do you know what to pack in order to stay on the right track and eat clean? More than likely we are going to eat out and eat things we typically wouldn’t eat every day and that’s okay! Be mindful and make smart choices, eat clean when you can! When we are unprepared we tend to make unhealthy choices causing a negative outcome. Below I have created a list of healthy, smart snacks that are good for traveling.
- Fruit- bannanas, apples, grapefruit, etc.
- Boiled Eggs
- Protein Powder
- Rx Bars (protein bars)
- Hummus
- Veggies- Carrots, celery, peppers, cucumbers, etc.
- Rice Cakes
- Almond Butter
- Oatmeal
- Plantain Chips
- Nuts- unsalted
- Greek yogurt with Chia Seeds
- Tuna packages
- Trail Mix- dried cranberries, raisins, no sugar added, unsalted
